Job Interest

The job that I found interesting on TeamWork Online was a position being offered by the Indianapolis Colts. The organization is looking for an Operations Coordinator for the Content Team. This position includes a variety of different tasks, but the main core of the job description deals with assisting and collaborating with the Content Team to complete their daily operations and presentations. Collectively, the Content Team is responsible for the overall fan experience, so becoming the coordinator of all of these efforts ensures that the connection between the fans and the creators is accomplished. This position is attractive to me because I am very interested in the creations of the Content Team but am not yet equipped to complete their caliber of design. Becoming a coordinator would allow me to have a say in how things are presented creatively while still learning from the experts along the way. Additionally, I am a very active NFL football fan, so being involved in that industry and its constant happenings seems very exciting to me. What I also found intriguing about the job is that a lot of their qualifications stress the importance of communication and teamwork within the group. As an athlete myself, I have learned that these are two of the most important areas to be sufficient in to find success, so I feel that I would fulfill those requirements naturally. However, besides obtaining a degree, a qualification that I would need to enhance is a ‘solution oriented’ mindset. I often think of things very thoroughly to find a solution, but I would need to become more efficient at this process in order to get tasks completed with quality.
